Parlez-Vous Anglais?

Based out of Paris & Berlin, Parlez-vous anglais ? is an Electronic Disco Pop band formed by Franz Matthews, Franz Jules & Franz Lucas.

PVA started as a solo project initiated by Franz Matthews, a franco-german producer who wanted to mix all of his good tastes and guilty (but nonetheless human) pleasures into a groovy Electronic Pop that could fit both in a dance club or a rock venue. Taking us somewhere between WhoMadeWho, LCD Soundsytem, Chic & The Whitest Boy Alive…

Matthews soon realized that it would be much more fun to play those tracks with a real band. So in 2011, Franz Jules joins the boat on the drums, while Franz Lucas brought his guitars to the crew lately. Since then, the band’s been touring for 4 years in France (Printemps de Bourges, Rock’n Solex, Badaboum, Bus Palladium…), in Germany (://about blank, Berlinale Film Festival) and in the UK, released 5 EPs including their acclaimed « Dancing On The Other Side » (HIFI/LOFI Records) in 2014 and Flyin’ (Madman Regent) in 2015.

Good Girls Bad Guys is their 5th EP, bringing the band back to their rockier & guitar driven influences, although always cherishing a groovy bass or an analog synthie touch on top of it.
